Dr. Elizabeth Machado

Dr. Elizabeth Machado Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with a range of behavioral and emotional difficulties. Dr. Machado’s areas of specialty include obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other related conditions, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and related modalities, including Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP). She provides both traditional outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services.

Dr. Machado earned a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed an internship in child clinical and pediatric psychology at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. She received specialized training throughout her post-doctoral residency in OCD and the provision of EXRP, as well as in comprehensive Autism diagnostic evaluations using the ADOS-2. Dr. Machado provides in-office and telehealth services and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
