Dr. Rebecca Hill

Dr. Rebecca Hill is a Licensed Psychologist who completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Touro University and received her Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining Pediatric Psychology Associates, Dr. Hill completed an APA accredited internship with Boys Town Behavioral Health where she provided individual and family therapy services to children and adolescents at an outpatient clinic in a rural community. She then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Child Provider Specialists where she provided clinical support within an academic intervention program, consultation, and therapeutic services to children and adolescents.

Dr. Hill has extensive experience working with children and teens of all ages in individual, family, and group format. Dr. Hill utilizes a strengths-based approach and aids children and families in working towards their goals. Dr. Hill provides individualized treatment to every client that she sees utilizing evidenced based treatment models, and culturally sensitive care. Dr. Hill emphasizes learning how to adaptively cope with all aspects of life, and work towards greater well-being. Dr. Hill creates a warm and affirming space for all clients and has extensive experience working with members of different religious, ethnic, and cultural communities. Dr. Hill prioritizes equity and accessibility and is always learning and working towards increasing access for people of all race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, background, body size, and ability level.

Always balancing “acceptance with change”, Dr. Hill provides treatment for a range of presentations including Depression, Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Eating Disorders, Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma and adjustment related concerns. Additionally, treatment can target topics such as grief and loss, stress, school related difficulties, coping, anger management, behavioral concerns, body image related concerns, communication, family conflict, self-esteem, adjustment related difficulties, sleep concerns, healthy behavior engagement, social skills and or peer related concerns. Dr. Hill works collaboratively with children, caregivers, and members of every system they are a part of. Dr. Hill works out of the Miami Beach office and provides in-office and telehealth services.
