Dr. Danielle Silver
Dr. Danielle Silver is a Licensed Psychologist with a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and families. She has extensive experience utilizing evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as needed, for clients presenting with varying developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. Her clinical experience provided her with a strong foundation in the treatment of several areas including, but not limited to, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression and related mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral and social difficulties. Dr. Silver also has considerable experience conducting evaluations for children and adolescents, including comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for school-related academic, behavioral, developmental, and learning problems and developmental evaluations for children with, or suspected of having, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), exhibiting developmental delays, or experiencing early childhood behavioral difficulties.
Dr. Silver earned her clinical psychology doctorate degree (PsyD) from Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Clinical Psychology Program. She completed her doctoral internship at NSU’s Psychology Services Center, where she worked in the School-Related Psychological Assessments and Clinical Interventions (SPACI) clinic, the Child, Adolescent, and Family Services (CAFS) clinic, and the Adult Services Program (ASP). Dr. Silver also completed her post-doctoral residency at NSU’s Mailman Segal Center for Human Development. During this time, she also served as an adjunct faculty member at NSU and taught a Child and Adolescent Intervention course to Doctoral Psychology students. Dr. Silver provides telehealth services and works out of the Aventura office.
