Dr. Amrita Singh is a licensed psychologist with a passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She enjoys collaborating with clients and their supporters to meet their individual goals. Dr. Singh specializes in providing evidence-based treatment to clients struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges, including those presenting with autism spectrum disorder, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Dr. Singh utilizes primarily a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach that incorporates exposure response prevention (ERP) and behavior therapy techniques as needed. She is a certified provider for the PEERS young adult social skills program.
Dr. Singh received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed an APA accredited internship at the Elizabeth Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Singh also completed a Clinical Child/Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She currently also works as a Child Psychologist at the Mailman Segal Center at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Singh works out of the Aventura and Weston offices.
