Julia Martinez, MS, LMHC

Julia Martinez, M.S., LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. She completed her training at Pediatric Psychology Associates, where she co-facilitated social skills groups, consulted in a headache clinic alongside neurology providers, and provided CBT for anxiety and chronic pain. She later served as a Clinical Assessment Therapist at Kristi House, offering trauma-focused evaluations and evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents with abuse and complex trauma histories. Julia is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Ms. Martinez also provides services at the Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS) multispecialty medical group practice.

Ms. Martinez specializes in working with teens and young adults with anxiety, trauma, depression, and social-emotional challenges. She also works with individuals with autism and developmental disorders. Part of her practice is providing sexual education and support to teens and young adults. She offers individual therapy in-person at the South Miami office and via telehealth.
