Susanne Wardy, MS is a Group Facilitator and Educational Consultant who joined the practice in 2002. She worked with the Miami-Dade County Public School system for 30 years and retired in 2011 from MDCPS. Ms. Wardy is a member of the National Autism Society and the Autism Society of South Florida. Ms. Wardy primarily works with Autism Spectrum Disorders, nonverbal learning disabilities and related social, learning and attention disorders. Her work focuses on social understanding, theory of mind and social skills training. This is offered in an individual and small group format. Ms. Wardy provides consultations and educational therapy to children, adolescents and their families, as well as school consultations to assess learning and social environments to make appropriate recommendations. She also provides coordination and follow-up of interventions that the child is receiving. Ms. Wardy provides consultation to our SURF Group program therapists.
