Natalie Villegas, MS, earned her Master of Science in Psychology, with a major in Professional Counseling Psychology, from Florida International University (FIU).
During her graduate studies at FIU, Ms. Villegas completed her practicum at the Center for Children and Families (CCF), where she co-facilitated the Saturday Treatment Program (SatTP), a weekly behavioral intervention for children and their caretakers in grades K–5 with ADHD and related behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges. She went on to complete her internship at ARC Mental Health, where she provided comprehensive care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients, guided by a mission to make quality mental health services accessible to all. Natalie served as the Administrative Assistant at our South Miami office, where she played a key role in managing patient relations, including placement and appointment coordination in PPA. Her path into this work was shaped by an earlier leadership role as an Assistant Manager at a K–8 Center within Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where she worked closely with students, educators, and families, an experience that deepened her commitment to supporting children and families through life’s challenges.
Ms. Villegas’s areas of clinical interest include ADHD, depression, anxiety, and social, behavioral, and emotional challenges, with a particular focus on peer relationships, school stress, friendships, and peer pressure. Psychoeducation is central to her practice; she works to give individuals and families the tools and understanding they need to navigate challenges with confidence. She also recognizes how deeply family dynamics shape a person’s wellbeing and is committed to helping families move through these challenges together.
Ms. Villegas takes an approach rooted in relationships and developmental understanding, tailoring her care to the unique needs of each client to ensure services are welcoming, respectful, purposeful, outcome focused. Her goal is to empower clients from all walks of life to reach their therapeutic goals through thoughtful, evidence-informed care that helps individuals and families thrive.
Ms. Villegas provides services in both English and Spanish, in person at PPA’s South Miami and Weston locations, as well as via Telehealth
