Ashley Ratzlaff, M.S., LMHC

Ashley Ratzlaff, MS, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University (FIU), as well as a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While pursuing her degree at FIU, Mrs. Ratzlaff completed her practicum and internship at Pediatric Psychology Associates, where she helped facilitate the Social Understanding and Relationship Fundamentals (SURF) groups and camps, provided consultation at the headache clinic in collaboration with NeuroNetwork Partners, and offered cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for individuals with chronic headache pain as well as anxiety-based disorders. Mrs. Ratzlaff has experience working with patients of all ages dually diagnosed with developmental delays and mental health issues. She also has clinical experience applying ABA principles to psychotherapy and providing psychoeducation to clients and their families. Her populations of interest include individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays, anxiety, chronic pain, and social-emotional challenges. She co-facilitated the PEERS Program for Teens and Young Adults out of our Weston location and currently facilitates the SURF Explorers Program for ages 4 to 6 out of our South Miami location. Additionally, Mrs. Ratzlaff also provides individual therapy to clients with chronic migraines, internalizing disorders, social skills deficits, behavioral difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges.  Mrs. Ratzlaff provides individual, family, and group services via telehealth and in person out of our South Miami location.
