• Geared towards children with HFASD, ADHD, and children with other social communication and behavioral challenges

• Our Summer Camp is to provide an intensive and fun atmosphere to promote and enhance social skills and get ready for the new school year!

• Open to children ages 4 to 10 Ratio of 1 - 2 children to 1 adult

• Daily 9 am to 12 pm *Aftercare and other enrichment services/therapies may be available for an additional fee

• Offered in Coral Springs, Aventura, and Coral Gables Offices

• Cost $300 per week – 1 or 2 week sessions offered, sibling discounts available

• Additional $50 registration fee due at sign up (registration fee includes ½ hour initial consult to set goals and for child/parents to meet camp coordinator, and covers the cost of materials)

Throughout the day the children will work on conversation skills, self-regulation and emotional functioning, flexibility, play skills, following directions, body language, problem solving, and all of the skills necessary for success in social, academic and emotional functioning.

Social Skill Lessons
Theory of mind, perspective taking, frustration tolerance, core values, theme of day Learning to make friends, joining in, conversation skills

Karate/Yoga
Self regulation, coordination, improve motor skills, confidence building

Science Experiments
Problem solving, organization, team building, predicting and sequencing

Facilitated Unstructured Play
Practice flexibility, turn taking, social skills in a more natural setting to help generalize skills

Reading Comprehension Enrichment
Assessment of reading level to determine child’s needs, help with cause and effect, inferencing, highlighting key areas, retelling and main idea; Help child maintain skills gained throughout the school year

Manners/Snack or Cooking time
Social graces, appropriate eating habits, life skills
